This course was made for complete beginners, with zero experience in the Hebrew language. We will start by learning some important facts about the Hebrew alphabet, just like how many sets of the alphabet there are and what is the reading and writing direction. Then, we will continue by learning the Print set of the Hebrew alphabet, along with word examples. Each word you will learn will contain only letters you already learned. Next, we will learn how to pronounce the letters, by mastering the Niqqud – a set of signs that function as vowels. Once you know the alphabet and can pronounce the letters, you will get to practice reading words from different fields. After every reading practice, you will get to measure yourself by a spelling dictation of the words from the reading practice. Once you’re done with all 6 reading practices and dictations, you will take a final dictation that contains all 27 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Afterward, you will learn the Script set of the Hebrew alphabet, practice reading words you’re already familiar with and test yourself with another spelling dictation. Once you master reading and writing the Hebrew alphabet, you will reach the last section where you can find some tips and gifts which will allow you to keep on practicing the Hebrew alphabet by yourself.
